Hello
I was wondering if other BTZS users are having trouble with having underexposed negatives using the BTZS exposure/development methods.
I shoot 4x5 Ilford FP4 film and had my film test done by Fred and Dennis at VCS. However, after scanning my images (via Epson 3200 scanner) into Photoshop 7.0 for digital output (onto an Epson 2200 printer), I have to do many selections and use the burn tool in order to darken blown out highlights as well as darken shadows in my images.
I am wondering if I should try overexposing my shots by 1 stop in order to get better negative density in the highlights and shadows. I am using the incident metering High EV and Low EV reading.
Any suggestions from fellow BTZSers would be greatly appreciated.
