Having lived in Florida in the past I know you have no lack of humidity problems, so you most likely wont need to humidify your paper like those of us who live in desertic or semi desertic areas.
Humidification has some bearing in paper speed but if you have a consistent method this should not be a problem. I choose to coat, dry and print inmediatelly. Although more time consuming it has also proved the best method for me. You need to find out what is best for you and stick with it.
