hey thanks Jorge! I would like to get a copy of your curves. I have a blue L.E.D. densitometer that works well for reading stained negs for silver and I know it will not do for UV light so I am looking for a used one that will. Better yet since I have sworn not to purchase any more equipment for at least a year(other than supplies)and since I don't anticipate using anything except 400Tmax/pyrocat for pt/pd "bumming your cures may be a lifesaver . The Nuarc will not arrive for about a week so I am gathering stuff now. I am a little befuddled about the Nuarc VFC43... I think I made a miscalculation. It cost $128.00 to buy but $600.00 to ship!!! Also the UV light source with integrator is reportedly in very good condition with fairly recent bulb but the seller isn't sure ...3000W or 6000w.. either number sounds awfully high!!?? Something about a kokomono filter...? The Vacuum frame has dual pumps... When I did dye transfers I made a vacuum frame and used a vacuum cleaner with long hose. Looks like I got a lot to learn. The vacuum frame can do 48x36 work... I have a 4x5 camera...see what I mean. I do have a Canon 5000 prograf printer...hmmm seems I read something about digital negatives... Sounds like........fun.
Thanks again Jorge |
