I recently found out that a few photographers are actually developing films in split developer combinations such as part time in xtol and part time in D76. I suppose at this point we have the tools in BTZS to test for proported benifits of doing this however being a bit pinched for time I thought I'd ask if anyone has done any BTZS testing on combination developing. Theoretically I would guess that one could use a specific developer first that would say cause a short toe affect and then switch to another developer that would say shorten or elonagate the shoulder. Just curious if this has been examined using BTZS testing ...
