Hi Steve, I do plan to take a shot at xtol and D76 just to see what happens. I recently have been using 100Tmax and 400Tmax in Pyrocat-mc and at first was very disappointed with the curves until I really saw what they were showing. Simply that the presoak was essential for this developer! The next 5 film set was great and in field use, wow! Acutance and great gradation without the usual pitfalls of pyro staining formulas. BTZS gives you the ability to have look before you go too far down the road. I simply have enjoyed this year, getting the methods down and going out and "playing" with it. Sounds like you have too.
