Hi Miles,
I found myself with too much time on my hands oneday so did a test on Efke film using a combination of diluted Acufine and Rodinal at 1:100.
To "nail it down" I tried for a density spread on the 4 minute time that gave me an SBR of about 9.5 to 10 @ an ES of 1.05.
It took me about 2 sheets of film to find the range I wanted at the 4 minute time and then I processed a new set, read them, transferred the data to ExpoDev and did a test print.
Was it worth it??
Well I found the process "rewarding" but the results didn't jump off the print and scream "I special". By all means play around with combinations and you are correct, WinPlotter allows us the tools to experiment beyond anything most other photographers can think of doing.
Fine tuning my normal developer in the field [very minor tweeking] has been the real benifit for me with the whole system based on accurate repeatable data.
Best of luck if you play around.
Steve
