Had the same problem you did, turning the knobs willy nilly without testing is a recepie for failure. WHat I did was turn one of the knobs all the way to the max, the other was at the low end and then I turned the one on the low end up in set increments. For example I set the Green light to Max and the blue ligh to Min, made a test strip, then I turned the blue light to A--TS---turned to C---TS----turn E ---TS--- and so on. I did it this way because I figure the important part of the hard light, the shadows, would be better presented if I had a max of the soft light. Unfortunatelly at that time I was a zone user and did not do the BTZS, I think this method with the BTZS would give you very clear results. As it was I was able to visually get some good results. |
