That April "ISO & EFS" article was written several months before publication and the Plotter had been upgraded by the time the article appeared in D-Max. The program now (version 1.2.0.7) includes the "Personal Speed Point" feature so its speed recommendations are properly compensated.
If I understand your question, I think the adjustment method you suggest is workable. For example (assuming that you're using my data or that you've calibrated your own test procedures for a PSP of 2.4), if you're using TMX (ISO 100) and the Plotter analysis of a given film curve locates its speed point at 2.2, it indicates a speed loss of 2/3 stop, so the EFS for that development time is 64. |
