I anwered this once but the answer seems to have vanished.
The film, film developer, and paper all contribute to the final print gradation, which is what you're describing subjectively as "soft," "harsh," etc. When you relate those terms to Matcher displays you'll be able to identify other materials' combinations that provide the "look" you're after. |
