I'm possibly going to the US later this year and a friend is interested in me teaching him BTZS. I'm very pleased at the opportunity to share such a great system but have a dilema.
All my testing here is done on a D2 Condensor enlarger. The light source is one I understand. I have never used a Cold light head and wonder if film tests can be done with one.
To complicate matters he has a Heiland split grade printing system attached. Apparently it exposes green and blue at different exposures or something like that.
Also I intend to show him the testing procedure using Efke film as I have that dialled in to my liking and was wondering If I can use my baseboard light reading [4.8] and adjust his light source to that figure as a good starting point. |
