  Dick Arentez suggested to me in a priviate message that he would set the speed point at 90% of Dmax but he did not mention anything about a reflection density of 0.6. That actually sounds like the convention used to determine the speed point of silver papers, which is set at the exposure needed to produce a density of 0.6 over B+F.
