First let me say NICE. Real nice to see the new Plotter and the matcher works real well.
I have some questions about comparing film and paper. I use the reference curve. In all cases where I use the Seagull G #2 paper with the fims I normal use, I've noticed that the shadows are compressed and the highlights extended.
Am I translating this correctly whereby I understand that a) the print will have less contrast, b) the shadows will lack detail, c) the highlights and middle values will render nicely and not have a 'pasty' harsh feel to them?
  Thanks R   |
