I have just finished a film test using the new Tmax 100 5x7 in BTZS tubes with Tmax RS 1+4 @ 70 degrees. The frist negative I evaluated had a G-bar of .77 and an SBR of 6.3. My paper has an ES of 1.4. If I use the G-bar chart my development time is 11:30 min using both the unedited and the smoothed curves. If I use the SBR curve the development time is 10:10 for the unedited curve and 10:30 for the smoothed curve. Why are the times different? Is it more accurate to use the smoothed or the unsmoothed curves? Thank you, Michael Keslin   |
