Re: Confused with EV metering. |

I thought as much, how about the reciprocity data for XTOL with both films in the mean time. If I recall correctly XTOL gives full ISO when using "normal" speeds same as Pyrocat HD, so hopefully it would work the same under reciprocity.
How do I go about testing reciprocity? Follow the book instructions and the plot by hand? Can the plotter be used? How can I add this data to the Expo/Dev so that it takes into account my reciprocity results?
I have a UV densitometer and this will give the correct values for staining developers geared for alt work, which is all I am doing. My enlarger does not have any light leaks and it has a digital timer with a light integrator so I plan to use the enlarger approach. Once I have the curves I suppose I can input them in the plotter, but what do I do afterwards?
BTW I am in the process of writing an article comparing staining developers for enlargement, once again this densitometer measures "visible" light with a blue light so it will work to get correct numbers for staining developers. All the sensitometric comparisons will be done with the plotter (of course you will get full credit and a plug for the programs as well as the BTZS) If you like I can send you the files once I am done so they can be included in the data base for the rest of the program users.
