Recommended Incident meter |

Hello,
Can anyone recommend a simple incident meter that works well with BTZS?
I have a Minolta Auto meter IVF that has an ambient mode and reads out in EV, but the EV value changes when the film ISO setting is changed, why would they do this? (I can understand it changing with a mode that uses f-stop or shutter settings.)
It seems like it is doing some calculation when I wish it would merely display the actual EV.
Maybe a dumb question... Thanks for looking, John
