I have read the paper on personal speed point. I guess I am not sure what would be wrong with just disabling the personal speed point and let plotter do the calulations based on maufacturer's rating. If I did so would it not be the same as hand plotting and using the ISO triangle? Knowing one might still have to make adjustments to the speed based on a few field tests, I thought the extra test involved for verifying personal speed point may not be necessary.
