Hello everyone,
Today I received Win Plotter and Expo Dev for the Palm OS and i'm looking forward to learning how to use the software and more importantly applying the results in the field and darkroom.
I do have a couple of initial questions before begining testing.
First I have the third edition of the BTZS manual, should I upgrade to the forth edition?
Second I print primarily with alternative processes so I assume the methodoly used to determine the ES of the paper is the same as for silver gelatin. I'll begin by testing kallitypes although I am quite familiar and comfortable with palladium/platinum, cyanotype, ziatype and VDB processes.
For film development I have tray developed for years but plan to switch to drum processing using color paper processing drums with 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 film to maintain processing consistency. I assume this will be an acceptable way to process film.
Thanks for your attention,
Don Bryant |
