That's exactly what I had in mind Steve, something like the Devere mixing box. I tried to use my colour head for film exposure. I used an old shutter on an enlarging lens but could not get consistent exposures. Its probably easier to try to get a single exposure value correct in a home made unit, and then use ND filters to adjust for different film speeds?
