I see no reason why the flash output couldn't be attenuated to a prover EV. My concern is how repeatable would the exposure be. Also the physical configuration of the flash relative tp the film.
What I sort of envision is having a box like setup where the flash is mounted to one side of the box, the interior being painted white and the light being diffued. The step tablet would be mounted on a sheet of glass on top of the box and the film emulsion placed against the step tablet.
Thoughts anyone?
