No offense to anyone running the forum, but I find it hard to get any notifications of new postings, so it makes it hard to know that someone asked a question to begin with. Yes, we can get notification of answers to our own postings, but not when someone asks a question you're not following.
Most forums today offer either an RSS feed, or a way to subscribe to a certain forum and get email notification or the postings themselves.
It's that kind of setup that will drive discussion further.
