Thank you very much for this immedeate reply! I'm sorry to have not expressed precisely enough: HC 110 1+43 means dilution of concentrate (i.e. 1+10 stock dilution). As I have been tought, 2,5 ml of concetrate is appropriate to one 4x5 sheet (similar the producers instruction of capacity, where about 2 ml is the minimum), about 90 ml of working solution is necessary. In case of very high contrast (N-3 to N-5!), as you can find e.g. on the coast, in the mountains or at night, I dilute further until 1+99 (1+24 stock) with very nice results in respect of contrast, sharpness and grain with TMax 400. But there is so much I have not yet tried nor seen, so I will have to do some tests now.
Your statement, that (appropriate) use of larger tubes or caps is innoxious, opens a wide range of experimenting with dilutions.
