I'm sorry I missed seeing your message when you first posted it. In answer to your question, though, we don't recommend 2-solution development in the BTZS tubes. Having to dump and refill the tubes in the dark really defeats one of the advantages of the tube system.
Although divided development does modify the film curve (and therefore gradation) to some extent , I think it's possible to achieve about the same image quality more directly, and with better control, by selecting a film/developer/paper that provides the "look" you want. The WinPlotter (Matcher) software will help you arrive at that materials' choice. |
