I have just relocated and have lots of new variables: new darkroom, inventory of "new" T-Max films and more importantly different municipal water system. So, I will be re-calibrating my four primary films: TMX, TMY, TXT & HP5. Since TMX (T-Max 100)is an ISO 100 film I will use it as my initial baseline film to establish my "Pers Ref Spd Pt". I only use one film developer: D-76 @ 1:3. After I get the TMX ISO mark to fall on 2.4, I'll be finished with TMX. But I'm nervous about assuming the manufacturers ISO for the other three films. If I want to be accurate, shouldn't I 'calibrate' my test setup for each of the other three films as well? |
