Yes, it should; and, assuming that you didn't make a careless mistake in your aperture and time settings, I don't see a reason for the discrepancy. If you repeat your test I'd suggest calibrating your exposure setup by aiming for EV3.67 (rather than 4.0) with the meter set on ISO 100. This may be a little inconvenient, and it doesn't address your present problem, but it would make it easier to relate your numbers to the recommendations in the book—and to other people's test results. |
