Hi Hermit,

If you are seriously wanting to test your film via the BTZS route Phil has outlined the methodology to follow in the book. BTZS is a very complete system, it does require a small mindset change and a dose of initial dedication however it is extraordinarily logical and very repeatable.

I was suprised at how simple the testing was and how accurate my negatives from real photography turned out. There are many posts on the site here to help you if you need to know more -- and of course the "book"

BTZS will provide you an amazing amount of valuable information that you as a photographic artist can apply.
