thanks , by chance, do you have from your experience a good paper to start with? I have read the first 2 chapters of the book. I also have been reading about Na2 and the other more traditional methods. I am getting interested but I kinda want to find the most straight forward approach before having to deal with what seems to be a plethora of methods and techniques. I understand that there are even simple "starter kits" that can give you a peek at the process. BTW i did do my paper test and for the most part the curves look ok but 2 of the curves were not where they logical should be. The curve for the soft=off , hard=max was not contrastier than the soft=B,Hard=Max both chart just short of paper grade 4. I think the soft=off should be at least high paper 4 or even 5. The green light was on but it did flicker for the initial second even though I did give the head a few "empty exposures to heat up the blue tube. I will just repeat that exposure today. The low end looks good @ grade 0. I used Forte VC Fb. |
