thanks Phil. I'm eager to get the psp calibration done. I'm having to make some adjustments to your tech because I am using a home built "exposure tower" as my light source for the film exposures. It has a light source connected to an electronic timer, mounted in a aluminum tower that has a stage in it for diffusion panels and density sheets and a slot in the bottom to slide the contact printing frame into. A friend who works at the local aluminum tool box mfg. compamy made it for me for $50.00. I have only used it a coulpe of times. It seems to make the whole process of exposing sheets of film easier for me(less errors and much more consistent). I am working on a dial in "dimmer" with voltage regulator to make the package complete. Once calibrated I believe I will have stream lined the "process" well enough to enjoy the experimentation and save a lot of time in the process. I just recieved your 4th edition text. As usual, good job! |
