Howard, Up until now, my experience had been the same as yours: even when I had a little difficulty getting the film out of the tubes, I never saw scratches. But if the film was not scratched coming out of the tubes then I am stumped, because I cannot imagine where else in the process I could have scratched 4 of the 5 sheets of film I was developing.
Even if removing the developed film was not where the problem arose, I would like to do this step more gently than I have been. I wonder if it would help if I scooped up a full tube of stop bath before I tried to remove the film. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? |
