If you do paper and film testing often is very nice to have a *real* densitometer and not working with a light meter. The heiland TRD2 densitometer is a fine instrument. It’s easy to use and give you very accurate results. My TRD2 is most the time ready to use on my desk. If money isn’t a limiting factor I would suggest to buy a TRD2 and not working with a light meter, simply becouse you havn’t do convert the results into density values.
