New ExpoDev Rocks, plus feature request! |

Just got the updated Expodev and Plotter from The View Camera Store. Man for the little changes in ExpoDev, they're really HUGE changes. I like it a lot. I like how you can export curves from Plotter to expo dev and you take into account every film's reciprocity effect, I like that it tells me that the materials I'm about to use are not going to work for the resulting exposure. Plotter is real nice too, I didn't get a chance to delve into it as much, but I've matched up films and papers and at least I can now read the scales a little easier.
That said, I had a request and a bug to report, and I don't know if this is the right place to do it, but here it goes anyway.
The only feature I'd like to see is to be able to choose more than one film at a time when exporting to expodev. I know however that it's more complex since you have to choose the appropriate settings for every film to save its reciprocity effect, and writing code for that can be cumbersome.
The bug I found is on my palm III when entering the hi and lo values, in incident meter mode, I noticed that the EFS value is chopped off by 2 pixels on the right when looking at an EFS value with 3 digits in it. If you have the value 428, the end of the 8 is cut off, so is the line that closes the box which contains the 3 values. There is however plenty of space before the SBR value, so whom ever can shift the whole display by 2 pixels and you should be good to go.
Nice work, real nice work.
