I have read some articles about BTZS testing procedures and I am a bit confused about one of the most important parameter : metering for the test. In Phil's article "Your Personal Reference Speed Point" he is spotmetering "EV 4.0 on a white card laid on the printing frame". In an other forum Sandy King advice to use the "lightmeter without the white dome reads about 4EV". In the recent article in Magnachrom, Jorge write "place an incident meter on the base board and move the enlarger head until you get a reading of 4 EVs.". Three differents sources, three great users of BTZS and three differents metering. But which is the good one because, spotmetering a white card, incident metering with or without the dome give not the same result. Many thanks to all for sharing your experiences in the forum. And Happy New Year to all of You.
