Hi phil, first off let me say THANK YOU! for such a WONDERFUL system! Rock Solid Intuitive software. No fat on this system! I'm hyping it to everyone I know that shoots film. It really is to the point like no other method.
Now, here's my dilema... I have a good handle on the entire techniqe but would now like to make my own test negs. (I've been buying them from VCS) I use the plotter software and palm software. I process in a jobo cpp2 with expert drum 6 sheet and 10 sheet. The problem is, how can I do a prsp test without having to do 3 runs (18 sheets) on my Jobo. I know I need 4, 8, and 16 min. However, I'd be wasting a lot of shots (15) in order to give the developer the amount of film it would need to process to get a reliable prsp sheet. Plus, tack on another 15 sheets if the initial exposure wasn't right! Is there a more efficient way? You recommend using the tubes in your article, but, I don't use them. I have tmax 100, 400 txp320 fp4+, efke pl100, hp5 on hand and clayton f76, ddx as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ( I have a densitometer as well.)
Also, do you not recommend a presoak for the Jobo as well?
Once again... THANKS Phil. You've made a GREAT contribution to the photography world!
Sincerely Bob Sandstrom
