Using plotter I did a paper test on grade 2 AZO. With IDmax set at the default 90% the results compare with published data (ISO 120 vs published 110). The resultant development times compare to my negatives for standard grade 2 paper (galerie). But typically my existing negatives do not print well on grade 2 AZO (they do better on grade 3 AZO). IDmin for AZO is higher as I would expect.
In this case I am thinking plotter should be set to maybe 95% or even 100% for IDmax to achieve a good negative scale?
