		| Thanks for all the input I received regarding my film scratching problems. It turns out that the problem was most likely in the interleaving of sheets during fixing and/or hypo-clearing. Yesterday I processed a batch of negatives without putting the film into any trays at all. No scratches!! As soon the film was done in the stop bath I removed it from each tube and placed the sheets into the washer basket (they are separated by grooves cut into the acrylic plastic). This basket was submerged into a Tupperware tub holding a gallon of fixer for 5 minutes and then a gallon of hypo-clear for 3 minutes and from there into the washer. That did the trick. Thanks again! Mike
