I think I understand the basics of film and paper testing. I have ran the tests and I have the data that I need. I bought a palm and with help, I got the BTZS program loaded. However, I cannot understand how the program can give me a development time with only the film data entered. To the best of my understanding the program does not have my paper test data installed. Secondly, I do not have a handle on where I get the "Test EV" to enter into the palm. In my third edition I can find only one reference to EV (exposure value page 115). I can find no reference to test EV. Can someone give me some clarification?
