If I am testing a paper with a routine of 8 different filtrations, do all 8 exposures have to be identical? My problem was with grades 1, 0 & 00. An exposure which was correct (produce D-Max) for Grade 2,3,&4 was insufficient to produce D-Max on the lower grades. So I increased exposur by two (2) full stops, still leaving at least one full 'white' tab at the end.
