There’s nothing magic about enlargers as test light sources; they just happen to handy, easily adjustable, and hooked up to convenient timers. But a raw light bulb of around 15 to 25 watts connected to the enlarger timer should work well. If the light is too bright to work with comfortably, filter it (blue) to raise the color temperature (closer to daylight). You’d have to provide a standard setup of some sort because room reflections will probably cause the intensity to change if any surface close to the print frame is changed.
Another reasonable possibility is removing the enlarger lens and using the raw light. That should be substantially stronger then the lens illumination, and it may also be usefully uniform.
