Phil, How can I convert step density values or EV's to lux-second exposure values as commonly used in vendor film curves or as incorporated in ISO 7589? I would like to compare my own film characteristic curves with vendor results? Second, why does the BTZS method use an enlarger light source for exposing step tablets rather than standard daylight since most film are used under daylight or electronic flash conditions? Doesn't the illumination source affect the film speed, gamma and contrast index values?
Thanks.
