Thanks for the detailed analysis Steve, I have a real interest in this. Prior to starting with BTZS I had been testing the staining developer Moersch Tanol. I was extremely pleased with the results using the Moersch starting points and would like eventually to use this with BTZS. It produces a brown stain on my usual films and seems to work well with vc papers.
