Hi-I'm new to this BTZ system. I have seen the pictures taken by Jeff White and they are absolutely superb. I was woindering how the whites came out so lush an creamy and the blacks came out like velvet. His pictures seem to have that special glow to them. This is the effect I am trying to achieve with my pictures. Could someone tell me the secret? Is it just very careful contrast control? I have read Phil's book(edition 4) over and over and I am realizing how sensible it is. It is making more sense the more I think about it. A big thanks to Phil for exposing these mysteries of photography. |
