Hi Ron!
Of course btzs works also with 35mm roll film – the basics are the same with all formats. It’s worth to do a btzs film test only to know the material! Of course sheet films are ideal for btzs, but you can develop your own strategy to use as much btzs as possible with roll films. My strategy for documentary and action photography outdoor is the following. I test the contrast situation before I begin to take pictures with the btzs incident light meter method. With this metering I know the required development and I have a very good starting point for the exposure. During the photo session I cheque from time to time and when I change film the contrast situation. The matrix meters of the modern cameras are really accurate and ideal for action and documentary photography, when you don’t have time to meter manually, but its wise to compare the camera metering with the manual results from time to time during the photo session.
Regards from Switzerland
Dominik
