I've never used a sensitometer so I'm probably not a reliable advisor. But I'll guess that since we determine EFS values of test films by comparison with the speed of some (assumed) standard film/developer combination (such as TMY/DDX+6, for example), the test exposure time, per se, is not critical. However, to minimize reciprocity effects, I'd suggest using the 1/100 setting if possible. Perhaps you can control the light intensity, if necessary, by sandwiching a neutral-density filter with the test film |
