I had one of those worms, or TH or whatever they call, you know the one, you open your browser and you are directed to another place. I think the are called hijackers. So since I could not find the file on the registry I did a recovery to a past date. Well it seems this messed up the palm.
Any way, today I went to take pictures and noticed that my ExpoDev was acting strange. It would not take values higher than 8 SBR when my file had up to 16 SBR. So I was pretty much screwed. I came back home and tried to remove and re install the file, but no dice, still cannot get the ExpoDev to give me exposures for SBRs higher than 8. So I tried removing all the programs, all the files etc, from the computer, and re install everything. Still no dice, it got a little bit better, but I was only able to get up to 10 SBR. I suppose if the winplotter file has values from SBR 5.2 to SBR 16, I should be able to use that on the Palm. Am I correct or is there a difference?.
So now I am stuck with redoing all the test, and re installing everything.
Another question, are there any file folders I should look for and remove? I want to remove EVERYTHING and start from scratch. Oh, and is there a way to check the Palm, for any viruses, etc.? |
