BTZS Users: I'm not new to BTZS, but I;ve been "out of the loop" due to some medical problems. Anyway, I noted in the latest issue of View Camera an article by Phil Davis regarding film testing.. What puzzles me is that the data curves (pg. 63)for a 400 speed film ( film speed, EFS vs SBR) do not indicate a doubling of the film speed for incident metering as indicated in P.Davis books. Also, this idea that the iso-triangle should fall on 2.4 is something I've never seen before. I thought that as long as one had the first 2-3 steps in the film test equal to B+F all was "OK" for assigning EFS to the curves. I don't have the plotter program. Rather I prefer to read/plot the density data. The article led me to this web-site which I was never aware of. Help with some info-Anyone. Thanks |
