When working manually (not using either Plotter or Expo/Dev) i.e., reading exposure data from a hand-drawn EFS chart, the test fillm speeds should be doubled to “calibrate” the meter for this unusual way of working (see page 105, paras 2,3, 4th edition). This is done for you automatically by Expo/Dev so there’s no need to worry about it.
