Greetings All,
When shooting color, we have to worry about color correcting a scene to the relevant color tmep of the film we are shooting.. In B&W world, this problem is alleged to not be significant enough to worry about.
When looking at the spectral sensitivity curves of TMax films, I see there is a marked notch in film repsonse around 500nm, just about the same wavelength as that of the blue component in a fluorescent bulb...
When using BTZS methods, we are trying to get the best exposure for the given condition.. I wonder if we should tweak our procedures at all if shooting indoors under fluorescent or outside under artificial lighting?? Does anyone know/seen a spectral sensitivity curve for meters??
I suspect the effect is not that great.. guessing maybe a few tenths of a stop??
best, M |
