With landscape what best works is LOOKING on the ground glass...
You will find that rarely you will need to turn your camera into a pretzel when working landscapes. Maybe a little bit of tilt to get the foregorund sharp and that is mostly it. Of course if you are doing architecture then you might need a more rigorous approach, but so far in almost 30 years of photography I have found maybe one or 2 instances where I had to use a lot of movements and tilts.
