Just wanted to post one quick follow up on running Plotter on Windows 7. In order to register the file associations (so that Plotter can opens files when they are clicked on), you should run Plotter as an Administrator once after installing it.

After this all file associations will be correctly set up and you no longer need to run Plotter as an Administrator.
