No I haven't done a field test yet I have been busy trying to track down possible processing problems. I have been doing this for years so thats what has me so baffled. I have tried Delta 100 in D76 1+1 and xtol 1+1, and 100tmax in d76 1+1 and Xtol 1+1 with very similar results ! I have used three different light sources but all test were done in a contact printing frame with stouffer 21 step tablet. I am now looking at the software part of it. I did notice that when looking at the graft family things look pretty normal but when I select analyze the graph seems to show the curves with increased contrast and subsequently the calculated values seem to reflect the increase. for example , extending he 4 min curve would not cause the line to reach 1.2 in the family graph but on the analytical graph the extended 4 min curve crosses the y axis well above 1.2 (about 1.3). also i have not included any flare density although if i plug in 0.5 all my studies "looK" perfect in comparison to published data. Hmmmmmm I am just not sure. Interesting my son came by with a 2 rolls of tmax 400 35mm and I used the same batch of xtol 1+1 to process his film at the recommended time and temp published by kodak approx 9.5min. beautiful negs that print quited nicely on grade 2 paper and no sign of runaway contrast. That seems to take chemistry and dilution out of the equation.
