Use whatever exposure time is needed to cause the film family to indicate an "ISO" point of 2.4 (as closely as possible). when you've established that exposure time, using a film/dev combination that's honestly rated (Delta 100 in ID-11+1 or Xtol+1; FP4 Plus in DD-X+6, for example), use that exposure time as your "personal reference" time for all films, varying the exposure to match the mfgr's ISO rating by using the aperture.
